About
NYC Communication Center

The
New York Communication Center has been serving anyone and everyone
in need of healing, especially those affected by the events of September
11.
We
offer free counseling, healing sessions, classes in transformation of
mind, multi media materials and educational programs that demonstrate
among individuals from a variety of widely dissimilar populations, the
effectiveness of a spiritual mind-training program based on the principles
of A Course in Miracles.
Our
programs and materials offer a systematic and practical blueprint for
real change in behavior and attitudes toward family, friends, God and
themselves through the application of the Course's Workbook lessons of
Love and Forgiveness.
Aims:
- To
reach out and provide healing and recovery from the long-term effects
of this tragedy in the New York area and across the country.
- To
provide positive tools to individuals on how to deal with fear, loss,
grief, anxiety, anger and feelings of revenge.
- To
demonstrate a paradigm shift in the manner that human consciousness
thinks; from a perception of objective reality based on observation,
fear, limitation, loss, suffering, and death to a certainty of singular
reality presuming love with no opposite.
"That with no regard to race, color, creed, gender, or national
origin, there is, has been, and will always be, in our species an innate,
inborn faculty of expanding self-realization and understanding of our
entire purpose for existence, derived through and by acts of forgiveness
and love. We are certain in our hearts and minds that this new understanding
of a True Universal Relationship must and will bring bright innovative
solutions to the often devastating problems of aggregate human existence
that have beset Mankind since the beginning of time."
What We Do:
We conduct individual and group healing sessions, prayer vigils, weekend
and week intensives.
We
are also available to and work with local community groups with our educational
programs for youth, prisoners and the general public.
ACIMI
representatives are active and available to attend and speak at related
conferences and gatherings.
Since
September 11 we have actively been involved in counseling, hands
on healing and various volunteer work in and around New York
City to individuals and relief workers. Our members were instrumental
in setting up the "Kid's Corner" at the Armory with the Red
Cross that first week.
In
fact we had representatives attending the United Nations Conference on
Volunteerism when an announcement was made that the World Trade Center
had just been hit. After being evacuated from the building our members
immediately began to offer their services in various parts of the city.

How You Can Help:
Our New York Communication Center is operated by an all volunteer
workforce.
Our services, programs and materials are freely given and we rely entirely
on donations to continue our service. If you are able and feel inspired
