I am under no laws but God’s

 “A hill full, a hole full, yet you cannot catch a bowlful.”  What is it?

 This riddle delighted me when I was a child, and remains in my mind as a clear reminder that the abstract cannot be contained in form.

 “Complete abstraction is the natural condition of the mind.”

And so...

 What is the body? – What is the body for? – Am I a body?

 These are questions which may not occur for many so-called lifetimes, until finally, the unequivocal question arises: “What am I?”

 Moses asked the “I AM” of his mountaintop experience, “Who shall I say sent me?”

And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: Exodus 3:14

 “I am that I am” remains the only answer to every question of identity.

 You are that. You cannot be contained in a bowlful or a bodyful. It doesn’t matter what you call yourself. Being is axiomatic. You are not a body – not specific: “Not this.” You are the entirety, and whatever everything is, you are that. What you are cannot be contained or defined. You are “not this. “ Not a bowlful – not form. 

 God is Spirit, pure abstract creative principle. There are no laws but God's.  The term mind is used to represent the activating agent of spirit, supplying its creative energy. You are God's Son, one Self, with one Creator and one goal; to bring awareness of this oneness to all minds, that true creation may extend the Allness and the Unity of God. …

Your will be done!  In Heaven as on earth this is forever true.  … For God Himself has said, "Your will be done."  And it is done to you accordingly. …

Complete abstraction is the natural condition of the mind.  But part of it is now unnatural.  It does not look on everything as one.  It sees instead but fragments of the whole, for only thus could it invent the partial world you see.  The purpose of all seeing is to show you what you wish to see.  All hearing but brings to your mind the sounds it wants to hear. Thus were specifics made.  -Jesus, A Course In Miracles 

 Your conviction that you are a body, sick or well, is the mistaken belief that Wholeness can be contained. This fearful thought is the problem of the world. Like a bowlful of fog, it is an impossibility. 

 Now we can talk about healing and wellness:

The ideas above provide the rationale for all healing, all miracles and all transcendence of limited thought form. A “miracle healing” is merely the application of the power of mind to the reasonableness of sane thought. Remember, Mind is the activating agent of spirit. The power of decision is never absent from your mind. The power of decision is your one remaining freedom as a prisoner of this world. This is the truth. You can decide to see it right and exercise the power to change your mind. You are under no laws but God’s. Remember, the Father has committed all judgment unto the son.  You are God’s Son, and you remain as you were created.

 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: John 5:21,22

 There is another way of looking at everything. The world is not as you see it.

 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. Paul: 1Co 13:11 

 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1Co 15:51-52 

 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Rom 12:2 

 The idea that the formless could take form and be contained is what the body is.  (Remember, form is illusion – “you cannot catch a bowlful.”) You are not limited.

The words “sin” and “evil” are Aramaic archery terms. Sin (khata): means separation; to miss the mark. Evil (bisha): is the illusion or appearance that results from having missed the mark. You have been badly taught. The belief in the body is sin and the appearance of the body is evil. No guilt or punishment is implied – only the need for correction.

 There is a better way. Resign now as your own teacher. Remember you are not limited. There are no laws but God's.  Magic imprisons, but the laws of God make free.  The light has come because there are no laws but His.

 I am under no laws but God's.  This is our statement of freedom from all danger and all tyranny.  It is our acknowledgment that God is our Father, and that His Son is saved. Perhaps you even think that there are laws which set forth what is God's and what is yours.  Many "religions" have been based on this.  They would not save but damn in Heaven's name.  Yet they are no more strange than other "laws" you hold must be obeyed to make you safe. -A Course in Miracles

 In religion, the accusing language of guilt and separation has been given the status of accepted fact, and this charade has kept you in darkness (the ignor-ance of truth). And what is called science, based on partial knowledge – observing separated parts, can never teach the quantum reality of whole creation.  Priests of institutional religion and science, replacing true spiritual principles with sin-based concepts, enforce fear of God on fellow man. Now are you guilty, and the body as the archive of fear, suffering and conflict is the decision to retain unresolved hostility.

 God's laws forever give and never take. The body is endangered by the mind that hurts itself.  The body suffers just in order that the mind will fail to see it is the victim of itself.  The body's suffering is a mask the mind holds up to hide what really suffers.  It would not understand it is its own enemy; that it attacks itself and wants to die.  It is from this your "laws" would save the body.  It is for this you think you are a body.  -A Course in Miracles

 Unless I judge, I cannot weep. Man judges; God only gives. 

 Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. Mat 7:1,2

 The body mimics all aspects of an impossible thought: the idea of separation.

It is a repetitive pattern of containment or form. Endlessly changing form is seen throughout space time: plant forms in infinite variety, atmospheric patterns of air & water, continuous geologic formation and reformation of dense matter. The history of human bodies, their creation and destruction is the out picturing of this dream of separation. And yet, these bodies bear unknowingly the spark of God. Every cell contains the knowledge of the entire universe.

There are no laws but God's.  Let go and let God.

 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. John 12:32 

 And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he steadfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem. Luke 9:51 

 You can change your mind.  Let go. Let God.

 Like a crocheted thread you as body identity are bound repetitiously in an endless ancient loop of containment; bound until you change your mind. Learn to let go. What do you want forgiveness does not offer? Let the body become the means for your escape from prison.

 The awakening is physical.

The crucifixion is nothing more than an extreme example.  … The message the crucifixion was intended to teach was that …you cannot be persecuted…Your resurrection is your reawakening. … What could the purpose of the body be but specialness?  …  It was conceived to make you frail and helpless.  The goal of separation is its curse.  Yet bodies have no goal.  Purpose is of the mind.  And minds can change as they desire.  ….  Of itself the body can do nothing.  See it as means to hurt, and it is hurt.  See it as means to heal, and it is healed. -Jesus, A Course In Miracles 

 In the drama of the crucifixion and resurrection, Jesus’ body returned from death to life, ascended into quantum frequency, the realm of non-visible; from the limited to the unlimited; from the dream of separation to reality, the wholeness of God mind.  In this way he laid down his life as a Way; as a template for awakening. Now, the body has a new purpose.  Now its purpose is for awakening.

 The body is a dream.  …  Made to be fearful, must the body serve the purpose given it.  But we can change the purpose that the body will obey by changing what we think that it is for.  The body is the means by which God's Son returns to sanity.  Though it was made to fence him into hell without escape, yet has the goal of Heaven been exchanged for the pursuit of hell.  The Son of God extends his hand to reach his brother, and to help him walk along the road with him.  Now is the body holy.  Now it serves to heal the mind that it was made to kill. -Jesus, A Course In Miracles 

“Thou art there.”  I am always safe, here and now, in God’s presence. These are quantum statements of eternal safety, the eternal presence of God.

 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.

 …He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.  23rd Psalm

 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. John1:1-5 

 Yours is the way of pain, of which God knows nothing.  That way is hard indeed, and very lonely.  Fear and grief are your guests, and they go with you and abide with you on the way.  But the dark journey is not the way of God's Son.  Walk in light and do not see the dark companions, for they are not fit companions for the Son of God, who was created of light and in light.  The Great Light always surrounds you and shines out from you.  How can you see the dark companions in a light such as this?  If you see them, it is only because you are denying the light.  But deny them instead, for the light is here and the way is clear. -Jesus, A Course in Miracles

I am under no laws but God's.
I am the light of the world.
That is my only function. 
That is why I am here.
